[ItsAllAboutMeMan] World a Better Place now: New Matt Love tracks on Soundclick!



Matt Love has posted eagerly awaited new music tracks,  "Climb, Climb Up Bu**sh** Mountain" and "Jazz Iliad" at:

The acclaim was immediate.  Internationally renowed composer Vincent Knobil put his stamp of approval on Jazz Iliad:  "Good to hear... Love Jazz Iliad!"

Of "Climb, Climb Up Bu**sh** Mountain" famous musicologist David Snyder wrote: "finally got around to listening - what a great way to greet the day!"

Legendary Rock Critic Rick Arlen Reed wrote this about the same piece:  "I like it the best, yet. The lyrics, the dialogue, the mix...wonderful. Just don't know how [Love does] it all. Of course, it isn't the Statler Brothers, but no one is. haha. It's great really... I felt lousy when I first signed on, but feeeeeel so much better now."

Hey Dave,

This is great!  I could really use 6.8 million dollars. I've made a short film that I want to expand into a feature length movie. It's a musical. It's autobiographical. I might make a trilogy kind of like Star Wars. My life has been so eventful and interesting, it might take 3 films to get all the important stuff in.  My first marriage was kind of like when Darth Vader blew up Princess Leia's planet, if you know what I mean, LOL!

But anyway, I can sure use that 6.8 million dollars, so whip it out.

Hey Kiley

I really dig your poem about a divorced 50 something lady, I think I can take these words and make a pretty special song out of them.  I'm glad you thought of me when you wrote this.

My standard arrangement is the profits from the song are split 50-50 between the lyricist (you) and the musician (me). 

it's a better deal than you get with other song poem composers because you don't pay me any money up front.  If those guys think they are writing good songs, why do they demand money from you, instead of looking to the marketplace to meet their needs, like every single other songwriter on the face of the planet?  What's up with that?

No, I put my labor where my mouth is - I compose the music up front, and if our song makes money, I eat steak. if not, another night of mac and cheese. (like "Ebony and Ivory" and "Silly Love Songs" but i digress.
