Apparently I am entering into a romance with one of your charges, Cynthia Rose, which is pretty cool, I guess, but that's not really what I'm writing to you about.
As I told Cynthia, I admire the work your doing, and would like to help it and support it. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I'm a long-time musician, and now the head of my own record label, Egregious Records - I will soon have a big website launch, but in the mean time, you can hear some of my label's music at http://www.soundclick.com/EgregiousRecords
I would like to send some of my bands around to play some concerts for people in refugee camps in Dakar, do you think you could help me set some up? Your poor people must be starved for entertainment, a captive audience as it were, and I would very much like my crack team of musical specialists to come and cheer them up.
Have you heard about those 33 miners in Chile who will be trapped for the next few months? I have volunteered The Blue Skype Boys to go there and perform for them by singing down the hole to them, but a NASA doctor vetoed the idea, he had previously heard the boys singing to the guys in the space station, and he said it would not be good for their mental health. What's he talking about, it's not exactly rocket science to know that Egregious music would lift their spirits, one of our tunes is riding high in the charts:

I hadn't realized Côte d'Ivoire was in upheaval, it sounds like a very dangerous place. I was considering a financial investment there, I will have to consult with my contact there and see what he has to say about this.
