[ITSALLABOUTMEMAN] I have had a brilliant idea! [1 Attachment]

As soon as I read (http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/01/two-douchebags-are-selling-t-shirts-featuring-kurt-cobains-suicide-note/) about this tee-shirt design (see attached picture) I knew what I would do.

When I play this show on May 8th, I will be wearing one of these tee-shirts. When you shoot me, everybody will think that Courtney Love did it, and it will totally throw the suspicion off of you?  Is it a perfect plan? No, and that's what I think i like about it.

I've been preparing for this day.  I have already updated my bio so that it reads in the past tense, and I have implanted a subtle message that will shift suspicion away from you and towards Courtney Love:  http://www.last.fm/music/Matt+Love/+wiki

Dear nuchyk,

What I really want is that Kurt Cobain suicide note shirt. I won't tell anybody where I got it, i won't get you in trouble with anybody at eBay. I want to wear it when I'm performing a show in Olympia, WA on May 8th. Somebody has threatened to shoot me at that show, and I want to show I'm not afraid of them, it's kind of a Charlie Hebdo thing, it means a lot to me to not let the terrorists win. Thank you!

Two douchebags are selling t-shirts featuring Kurt Cobain's suicide note

If you found yourself offended at the idea of H&M's Coachella-inspired clothing line, you might want to sit down for this next one: Two individuals are attempting to sell t-shirts and tank tops depicting Kurt Cobain's handwritten suicide note.

The tee, available on eBay, is the work of a resident of Thailand named Nuchyk. The intrepid entrepreneur makes sure to disclose that the shirts are "not official" and are "100percent made by me." Meanwhile, an Etsy user named SpicyTeen is offering a tank top with the same design.

After the shirt went viral on Reddit, Etsy and eBay began pulling down the listings. Etsy says users aren't allowed to sell items that "support or glorify acts of violence or harm towards self or others." Meanwhile, eBay prohibits "items that promote or glorify human tragedy, hatred, violence, racial, sexual, or religious intolerance."

By no means are these shirts the first tasteless pieces of Cobain-related merch devised by money-grubbing fans. Also see: the "27 Club" candle, Kurt Cobain skateboard, or the guy selling his childhood home (complete with mattress).

Excellent product idea, why should Courtney love be the only one to benefit from Cobain's death? Would love to see some cash flowing from the west to Thailand over this, it might have made it possible for the kid to go to college or something. I would wear this shirt but some nervous Nellie's have stopped me. I'll have to have my own made now, so some western corporation will get the money. My free speech right have been trammeled. Anyway, why the outrage? It isn't like he was Mohammad or something.

[ITSALLABOUTMEMAN] Our Dinner Date With Destiny...

 

Do you suppose she will order the lobster?  I certainly hope so, I'm doing everything I can to make it a success.

I'm a little worried that I haven't heard from you recently. I am anxious to know if you can accomodate my timetable and location preferences.  It's highly critical for my future career that I be killed in this time and this place.

Here's something else I've done to prepare for this; I have commissioned a series of covers of some of my greatest songs, so that my heirs will have a product to put on the market immediately upon my death. OK, I had this wonderful brainstorm last night, I could barely sleep for how wonderful it was, I couldn't wait to tell you about it.

I was hoping to see a new email from you this morning, I've come to look forward to them so much.  It's comforting to know that somebody is looking out for my interests in a world so full of hostile intent.

My question for you is do you think the people that hired you could wait into May 8, 2015 for you to bump me off? I have a performance scheduled for a reunion with my old band, Wimps, and it would be a smashing caper if you could assassinate me onstage during the performance.  The publicity would be amazing, and it would surely get my name in front of the world once again.

Hi Garba,

It's great to hear from you.  Sorry for not writing back, I guess I've been feeling a little bit down. I'm so tired of being pushed around by all the evil pigs in the world, maybe it would just be better to let them finish the job, you know what I mean?

There are some advantages I can think of. When Elvis died, he was clearly over the hill... but it was great for his music career. I too feel my career has been dead in the water for a while... an untimely and tragic demise just might be what's called for to get things back on track. Perhaps in death I would be able to provide for my family in a way that I've failed to in life.

I want to know what you think about this, I value your opinion.

Maybe there's a way we could do this in a way that maximizes publicity. For example, if you were to shoot my onstage like that guy did to Dimebag Darrel - now that was a first class operation!  Maybe I can arrange for a show... I'll make sure that there are lots of people there, maybe I can get the word around there will be free beer, pot, and cocaine.  And prostitutes, I mean, why not?  I can run up quite a bill, nobody's going to try to collect after I'm dead. And if some of the stuff doesn't actually show up, well, who is going to hold that against me at a time like that? 

I know there's a lot to work out - how you can shoot me without anybody seeing you, for example, that's tricky. But I think it's worth taking a shot at it - hopefully you are a good aim, and it would only take one shot!

Looking forward to getting your perspective on this, like I say, I value your opinion, I think we could work well together.

It's a relief to know that you don't want to kill me. I'm not sure how fast I can raise $50,000... how much time do I have? I'm sure I can come up with $20 or $25 in a few days, will that buy me some more time?

Can you tell me who had the crazy idea of bumping me off?  Was it Ron Rakow? It seems like the kind of thing he might do.

Good grief, I knew there were some crazy mofos on that Jack Kirby Fan Group on  Facebook, but I didn't have any idea some of them would go this far.  Rest assured, I take your threat very seriously, and will tell nobody from the FBI or local law enforcement. I will keep this threat entirely under my hat, except I will post it to my blog, which nobody reads anyway. I'll probably talk about this on Facebook, too, but don't worry, people there don't think I'm a serious thinker, they imagine that I'm some sort of crank given to "political rants!"   But I'm guessing that one of them hired you for this job, so I'm hoping that somebody will come forward, or put somebody else forward!

I don't have $80,000 right now, unfortunately. Since you've been following me for one week and three days you know that I'm poor as a field mouse, and I pretty much have to eat like one, two, the occasional seed or twig sustains me.
