[ITSALLABOUTMEMAN] Re: missing you my love

Hi Peace

You made a number of pretty basic mistakes. As I said on Facebook, you selected an image of a girl that has already been used by scammers a number of times already. If you don't know how to do a reverse google search I'd be happy to show you. The trouble with any image you pick off the web is that an image search will lead to the real girl, but it's very bad when the search points to a number of different places, same picture under different names.

Another mistake you made was to attempt to present yourself as an American. Your English is just not good enough for you to be mistaken for a native speaker.  Having an actual address in Oklahoma was a twist that I hadn't seen before (and I'd love to know how you picked it, it shows up on real estate sites, but google maps shows an undeveloped lot)a, and I don't understand how you got the Louisiana phone number. I would have liked to figure that out, but was never able to, so good on you for that.

You should know that Lissy is not an American name, and the names you supplied for your relatives was a comic mishmash of names of different European origins.

It was a big slip to not realize that your paternal uncle's mother would be your grandmother. You just quickly shifted gears on that one, but the damage was already done.

You should know that Peace is obviously a name of African origin, perhaps Nigerian, maybe Ghanaian. The last name 'Curry' is not an American surname, so without even knowing it, you created a huge credibility problem for yourself from the very beginning. Having a different name on your facebook account from the one you wanted to be called was a red flag as well, since its well known that facebook is trying to root out scammers who are using fake names.

You were very restrained, waiting a full two days to declare your unrelenting love for me. The build up was interesting, I was even kind of wondering where it was going.  But once you got to the money part, it was much less interesting, and you kept harping on it for way to long, long after it should have become obvious to you that I wasn't a good mark.  I think an even longer period of just being freinds before becoming lovers would be better, though I don't think I ever would have been drawn in. Perhaps you have great success with more gullible marks, and you have no interest in my advice.

At any rate, thanks for playing, it was one of the better ones I've ever had, and perhaps we'll meet again. Maybe next time you'll be called Peace Curry, or Linda Med, or Miss Precious Yak... I'll still be me, and you know where to find me now.

Your friend,
Matt
