I wish I understood the mechanism through which people are being subscribed to this list that don't want to be on it... it is not me who is doing it, and it seems reasonable that they should be unhappy about it. I too am unhappy, as I am puzzled about who is doing it, and what they are gaining from doing it. It seems potentially nefarious.

I can't unsubscribe them as fast as they are being subscribed. New subscribers would delight me, but only if they really want to be here...

Wow, if there was any doubt before, this settles it once and for all... Americans are the worst sort of vile scum on the planet, the most morally decayed vermin... more than one in every 100 American adults are in jail or prison! The guys on the Ultrazine list that used to post on this subject would have to agree with that - because they believed that everybody who was in prison deserved to be there. So if Americans are incarcerated at rates that Russia, China, Iran, or apartheid South Africa could only longingly dream about - it must be because they are so bad. Because it certainly can't be that the government is repressive or jailing too many or the wrong people, that has also been established. I'd forward this information over there, too, but it's become a very dull forum lately.

Millions in prison, billions spent on prisons, that's not news, it's only news if Winona Ryder goes to jail. And she shouldn't because she never did anything wrong, no matter what the facts say. All those other 2,319,258 people are guilty, guilty, guilty, and are right where they belong - but not our Winona, never our Winona, because she's cute and therefore nice. On the other hand, her good friend Courtney Love should be locked up because she's a hag.

Did I miss anything? Am I starting to get it right now?

I gotta give props to Polimedia.us for one thing, though - they have lead more people to my blog in a few days than usually look at it in a year!

I have one regret - that the place in the interview when I said how much fun it was to work with the Causadores and Ana and Fabiola - how quickly they worked, and how endlessly creative they were - was not included in this broadcast. Otherwise, it's pretty much how it went down - me fumbling for words in English, with no Portuguese at all, Six sounding relaxed and confident in two languages, and Markito keeping things moving along smoothly, though he spoke little English.
