For cryin out loud, YouTube,
Everywhere I go, all over YouTube, I see people's home videos of copyright material. But you bust me when I use an obscure old Lorne Green (of all people) song that nobody has bought for 35 years, for my Ringo vid (http://www.youtube.
Now you are saying that this crappy piece of music [I won't call it Muzak (tm)] is no longer available, and my vid is silent?
Inexplicably, this is my 2nd most popular vid, but now nobody will want to watch it.
Why don't you make it possible/easy to swap in music of my own? I have tons of stuff that I composed, and no licensing required.
Or alternatively, I'll make my entire calalog of music available to your AudioSwap service. I guarentee my music brings fast fast relief, and it will open your viewers third nostril faster than an ice pick.
Sincerely yours,
Matt Love

We regret to inform you that the audio in your AudioSwapped video R.I.P. Ringo is no longer licensed for use on YouTube. As a result your video has been muted or blocked.
Every day we work to make it as easy as possible for you to watch and share videos. For example, we work with the music community to license your favorite music for you to use on YouTube. But music licensing can be very complicated. The right to use a single song often requires permission from multiple owners, particularly when it comes to original fan-made videos that incorporate commercial music. That said, despite our constant efforts, it isn't always possible to maintain these innovative agreements, as is the case with the song used in your video.
Please visit AudioSwap and select another track from our growing library of prelicensed songs. After you swap, your video will again be available globally.
Sincerely,
The YouTube Team© 2010 YouTube, LLC
