A quote from Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. No wonder Bush and
Robertson want to assassinate him, he's helping poor people:

"Practically no one in the United States knows that we've donated
millions of dollars to the governorship of Louisiana, to the New
Orleans Red Cross. We're now giving care to more than 5,000 victims,
and now we're going to supply gasoline, freely in some cases, and with
discounts in other cases, to the poorest of communities, starting with
New Orleans and its surroundings ... We've been helping. And we've
been even rescuing people."

This is the proper way to help poor people:

"The Mirror newspaper of Britain is reporting that the U.S. government
plans to incinerate 400,000 rations of food shipped from Britain to
feed starving Hurricane Katrina survivors. According to the paper, the
Food and Drug Agency has determined that the NATO ration packs are
unfit for human consumption even though they are eaten by British
troops in Iraq. Thousands of gallons of pear juice donated by Israeli
relief agencies have already been destroyed. Food from Spain and Italy
has also been judged unfit for human consumption."
