[ITSALLABOUTMEMAN] Re: BREAKTHROUGH: Call now to defend Iran diplomacy

Oh, if only the nations of the world, and our own malevolent political leadership would negotiate a deal so that that the US and Israel had peaceful nuclear programs, instead of nuclear holocaust programs.

Get with the program, Jo. The people of the world agree, the US is the biggest threat to their peace and security. You fake liberals at MoveOn.Org make me sick.

Read this if you can stand a small dose of reality:

Report Your Call!
Dear MoveOn member,

American diplomats just scored a historic, breakthrough win for our nation.

Through tough, courageous, and principled diplomacy, the United States and five world powers have agreed on a framework with Iran that will ensure, through rigorous inspections and verification, that Iran can have only a peaceful nuclear program.1

Diplomacy won, averting war—for now.

The remaining details of this comprehensive agreement will be worked out over the next three months. But some in Congress are already threatening to derail this, and they need to hear clearly: Let diplomacy work.

Can you call Sen. Peters, Sen. Stabenow, and Rep. Dingell? You can say: "I support the diplomatic framework with Iran that was just announced by the Obama Administration. Congress must not sabotage these efforts through increased sanctions or any other diplomacy-killing legislation. Let diplomacy work."

Here's where to call:

Senator Gary Peters
Phone: (202) 224-6221

Senator Debbie Stabenow
Phone: (202) 224-4822

Representative Debbie Dingell
Phone: (202) 225-4071

Here are the top three things to know about the agreement with Iran:2

  • Ensures Iran's nuclear program is only suitable for peaceful uses
  • Dramatically reduces its stockpile of nuclear material
  • Allows for permanent, short-notice inspections and extensive monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the United Nations' watchdog

Bottom line, international security experts agree that this initial agreement—once implemented—will significantly reduce any risk posed by Iran's nuclear program.

Yet, Republicans and some Democrats in Congress have been relentless in their efforts to sabotage diplomatic talks with Iran. And you can bet skeptics will only push harder now that there's a framework on the table.

Can you call Sen. Peters, Sen. Stabenow, and Rep. Dingell right now? You can say: "I support the diplomatic framework with Iran that was just announced by the Obama Administration. Congress must not sabotage these efforts through increased sanctions or any other diplomacy-killing legislation. Let diplomacy work."

Here's where to call:

Senator Gary Peters
Phone: (202) 224-6221

Senator Debbie Stabenow
Phone: (202) 224-4822

Representative Debbie Dingell
Phone: (202) 225-4071

Let's be clear: There are only two alternatives to this agreement and the final round of talks—a nuclear-armed and more dangerous Iran or another costly war in the Middle East. Neither will make our nation more secure.

It's up to MoveOn members to call Congress to stand strong and let diplomacy work—a phrase MoveOn members projected two evenings ago in front of the U.S. Capitol in support of Iran negotiations:

Because we know diplomacy trumps war, and a diplomatic deal with Iran will stand alongside the Camp David and Good Friday accords as a necessary and shining example of this truth. Together, we can make sure it comes to fruition.

Thanks for all you do.

Fwd: [ITSALLABOUTMEMAN] Re: MATT, Shipment delivery problem #00000855661

Hey Garba,

It looks like you might have some competition when it comes to killing me, this Gordon Driscoll looks like he's pretty eager to do the job himself.  I hope he doesn't get to me before you do at the May 8th event:  https://www.facebook.com/events/805873476134260/

By the way, I've been meaning to ask, but keep forgetting; are you named after
Colonel (later Lieutenant General) Garba Duba who was Governor of Bauchi State, Nigeria from July 1978 to October 1979 during the military regime of General Olusegun Obasanjo, and Administrator of Sokoto State from January 1984 to August 1985 during the military regime of Major General Muhammadu Buhari?

Or could you be that very same Garba Duba?  It would be amazing to be assassinated by such a great and famous man!

Hey Dan

Thanks for letting me know about the problem with delivering my package.

I'm pretty sure that it's a package of anthrax from Gordon Driscoll, so if its all the same to you, I'd appreciate it if you'd just send it back to him.

Thanks,

Matt Love
