I've finally achieved consistency in my life. Any person of average or above intelligence can predict what I will say next with unerring accuracy. And what I say will always be wrong.

[CanYoAssDigIt] Re: [RxR108] Re: how to avoid being shot by a cop

I know that people like to attach a name to material from anonymous sources in order to give it a false sense of gravity (a principle I learned from Ralph Keye's wonderful book, "Nice Guys Finish Seventh" - check it out at http://www.ralphkeyes.com/pages/books_old/niceguys/) - but it seems bizarre that they would attribute this apology for bad police behavior to Cheri Lewis, part of the pathetically incompetent O J Simpson prosecution, an affair notible for police and prosecutorial misconduct.  I might add, a prosecution which unsuccessfully tried to sell racist behavior to a jury that was 3/4 black.

So I know that Sheri Lewis isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but would she address this diatribe to "slick"?  Might as well attribute this to Abraham Lincoln, it would be just as (un)believable, and it would have more gravity.

The anonymous author left off Rule #6:

Don't be black while being a citizen.

With Bush's signature on the new terrorism bill soon, we will soon have Rule #7:

Don't have an independent idea about politics.  Ever.

Welcome to the New Age, never thought we'd get this far!

I kknow this may seem like a lie...

I know a heck of a lot of cops.

MOST will admit they have never shot anyone.
