Apparently the weaklings at Flaverpill have started moderating my highly intelligent comments. Well, they can't stop me from telling the truth here. Yet.
My comment:
Flaverpill writers' eyes as tin as their ears. Princess Bride highly overrated movie; would have been much better if the movie took itself seriously instead practically reaching off the screen to nudge and wink at the viewer. Don't know anything about the book. Agree with most people here - One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest movie a weak echo of the powerful book. Couldn't believe how weak and silly M*A*S*H the movie was when I saw it after reading the book. A good example of a movie better than the book that inspired it? Alakazam the Great, based on Journey to the West, which is like one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature, but it's boring. Frankie Avalon totally rocks it as a monkey, and Jonathan Winter makes a great pig.
