What's a simple way we can help end the West's assault on Syria? We are responsible for those deaths, not the ones Russia has inflicted. My, you folks have sure gone downhill.

There was a primary school nearby, and children were running out absolutely terrified … there were bodies everywhere, decapitated and mutilated.” - Mohammed Qurabi al-Ghazal, a local media activist | Dear Matt, Nearly five years in, civilians continue to pay the highest price for the conflict in Syria. As winter takes hold, millions of hungry families face months of freezing temperatures in makeshift shelters and dark basements. They’ve run out of options and the simplest tasks have become matters of life and death. Just today we have released new research showing that Russian air strikes in Syria have killed hundreds of civilians and caused massive destruction in residential areas. Their bombs have struck homes, a mosque and a busy market, as well as medical facilities. Ensure justice for the people of Syria – donate today We also found evidence to suggest that Russian forces may be using internationally-banned, deadly cluster munitions - intended to cause maximum and indiscriminate devastation. But they continue to deflect, deny and even fabricate the truth. Support our research on the ground and help us expose the truth We are committed to: 1. Demanding that all steps are taken to avoid civilian casualties. 2. Improving humanitarian access for the most vulnerable Syrians. 3. Ensuring all sides in the conflict abide by international law. Please join us in demanding a safe home for the people in Syria Thank you for your support. Best wishes, Kristyan Benedict Campaign Manager Amnesty International UK
